Dr. Laney Vaughan is an experienced, skilled, and compassionate general dentist dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care. She believes that every patient deserves to feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their dental care. She is committed to building trusting, long-lasting relationships with each person she treats.

Dr. Vaughan graduated from Woodside High School before earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Wake Forest University. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. During her pre-dental experience, she served as a core staff member for a traveling dental mission group, providing dental care to patients in underserved areas of North Carolina.

One of Dr. Vaughan’s favorite aspects of general dentistry is getting to know her patients and developing relationships that last for years. Her goal is to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients know that their health and well-being are always her top priorities. She especially enjoys restorative dentistry and helping patients maintain and achieve optimal oral health.

A lifelong Virginia native, Dr. Vaughan grew up in Newport News as the oldest of three sisters. After beginning her career practicing dentistry in Virginia Beach and Newport News, she is excited to bring her passion for dentistry to the Gloucester community she now calls home.

Dr. Vaughan and her fiancé, Bill, a Gloucester native, love the coastal charm and small-town feel of the Gloucester area. Outside of the office, they enjoy boating, fishing, DIY projects, pickleball, exploring local gems, and spending time with their two canine companions, Dale and Bibi.
